Personal opinion, but I think it will be when the cheaper options catch up with them... For example the Burris signature hd range are getting pretty close

Have you ever tried to push a projectile (that is the correct size) down a barrel? And then follow it with a bit of carbon etc. Good luck. Every shot fired through a barrel does a lot more damage...

Yeah I know this, but applied ballistics has listed a 150gn eld-M, and not a 150gn eld-X. As far as I know they don't make a 7mm 150gn eld-M.

If you use an app like applied ballistics or shooter etc. Just set another profile and change the point of impact on it to suit.
