mawzer308 how do you rate the stac? I've seen a few around at good $$'s. I need a new scope for my .250.
Barrels buggered mate, and the bedding and the trigger, COL is on the piss, maybe contaminated powders? Good luck

Jongmans with a 1/8 Tikka barrel also have a 1/12 mab barrel, shoots everything up to 65 Game king into 1 hole. Have never seen another one.
Why not try the 60 grain partition if you only want to go to 300 metres, save a heap of $$'s
Don't forget about all the good monolithic bullets like the hammers. I'm hoping for 3200fps from a 250 Savage. The .25 will rule again :D
How would a 20 inch barrel go in a 257R AI?
What did it sell for in the end?
I'll syphon you some money from my secret NZ account Tentman
;) Tentman lovely jubly
Have several, from older signature select through to new Signature, basically bomb proof. Got a Fullfield 1V for a creedmoor and was gobsmacked at how good it is.
N560 if you can get it.
No Micky, these guys are shooting 1/10 twist, so it works. I just want some validation from someone in NZ and somewhere to buy some.
Just been watching a few YouTube channels, particularly on the 250 Savage and the 270WSM. Now there are a few guys on there pushing the weight limits on the .270 WSM and even in the bog standard...
Helo John, you say you are intending to hunt Canterbury and the West Coast so a lot of different hunting scenarios there, heavy bush, slips, river beds and open country, and a big variety in animal...
Cousin of a Greener ?
Thanks.
Can someone chime in with the magazine length needed to fit the longer bullets, i.e., 80 gn ELDX without impacting to much into the case.
Thanka
Howa superlite 4 lb 7 ounces. I believe.

Missing his bey tines well advanced for this time of the year.
Leupold 6x30 are great, used to be USD $100 off several US on line stores.
Yep, fair comment, I think I'll stick with a Vixen for my next purchase, even if it's up to 20 ounces now.
Looks awesome , but 27 ounces? Ouch. I thought the Burris signature HD at 20 was getting heavy I didn't get the veracity cause it weighed 28 ounces.
Pretty sure you got a nice Red and maybe a Fallow as well ? Trout
