I brought mine brand new when I was 16 as soon as I got my license.. Its never let me down..shot a few possums and deer with it over the years...Not the smoothest action, but still does the trick....

Is that one of the kits from Ali Express?... If so was there anything to watch out for? As I was thinking of doing the same with my MTB.

I have got a load I'm happy with now... Using RL26 I am getting 3000 out of my 19" barrel with a 150gn.... And great accuracy.

To right...everytime I think of getting rid of my .284 to buy something else I look to see what the new fashionable calibre will do that the .284 doesn't...the usual answer is "Nothing".
