Update: track is closed during their working hours, 7.00am - 4.00pm Mon - Fri and 7.00am - 12.00 on Sat.
They are not felling onto the track but there is a chance of logs sliding down the steep face...

Don't be put off by the low cloud that we get this time of year. You should still be able to see 50 metres, and that is plenty where you are going. Streams will be high but receding after the 120mm...
