Yes, it is ok for kneeling/sitting position. I think the model I used was called "safari stix" or similar, collapsible and extremely lightweight. Ok for shorter range, I find that the tripod helps...

That is the Blaser R93 with my 6,5x55 barrel and Atec Maxim Titanium moderator. It is bigger/ heavier than my CTM, but suppression is noticably better and is better suited for range...
