Very nice. What does it weigh all dressed up?
Epoxy in this case is not usually for adhesive properties, but to bed the rail to the receiver. If the fit isn't perfect, torquing the screws will bend the rail.
Presumably you got the receiver milled and tapped to accept the base - where did you get that done?
How does the barrel interface with the receiver? Just screw in?
How would you go about fixing that? What would you change it to?
