Not many around, none that I know of on here. I can only think of 1 or 2 dedicated bow hunters in Hokitika.
Have you seen the american forum Rokslide? They're pretty into all things to do with the hot tent stoves. Bunch of DIY threads about it.
Get off the stage.
Yeah, he's over-stepped the boundary there. He's the owner of a clothing company not a nominated voice of the people. All of us are to blame for that don't forget. We can't get our shit together. The...

You can go hunting when you've proven to us you've got rid of all your rubber kong "toys".
Every roar, every opening morning, every day is something we'll never get back eh. I can only recommend...
Breathe fellas. Boiling over doesn't do us any good.
Every hunter in NZ should know this one. Sitting on the bunk in here gave me a warm feeling of being at home. Highly recommend visiting while it's still there, complete with all the names in pencil...
Interesting. Should email em see why it's not advertised as being capable of inverted use. It's been used that way since 2012. Maybe it's a legal thing.
I'm not sure. I can't find a manual on the net easily. Remember to run it upright for 30secs before trying with it inverted if you do test it. Be aware it might flare up so keep your face away from...
Cliff Yeah I think I could do that justice, just got a bit going on at the moment :) I'll continue to put some more info in here in the next couple weeks.
There's many reasons someone would use a guide. Not all of them are going to be legitimate in a lot of our eyes but many are as well. None of us would hold it against an 80yr old to use a guide for...
I see your point but they've said some people can surf and some can't anyway. "If you are an experienced surfer, you can go to your local break. If you’re not experienced, don’t surf."
Just gotta...
Hmm. Lets think about this. The government says the reason we can't go hunting is because we'll tie up emergency services right? How many emergency services are actually in use for the virus right...
Stock, floor plate (plastic/alloy) and fluting.
It would appear you told them it seems like a good idea to you with a not very informative warning about where to do said refilling. In the interests of some young impressionable fella not hurting...
It's an interesting thought. It increases efficiency only if you're running the stove at a higher output than what a non-heat exchanger pot can handle. If you run a stove too hard a lot of that heat...
Hopefully I've explained it in a semi-intuitive way that people can use and actually apply it to their individual situation. I'm ommited a fair bit around the gas pressures which for our purposes...
It'd still be very interesting to see what reloads of varying accuracy visually look like in terms of vibration ie. Is inconsistent vibration a factor for poor accuracy?
Awesome! This is what I like seeing on the forums. Thank you LBD.
Was there an effect on precision with the resonance?
I'm going to hospital pass the heat exchanger theory over to this fellow (Who is an actual stove designer) : https://youtu.be/EvWrxG30sNc
Have a listen to what he says about the heat exchanger...
I'll add more to this thread when I can so if we could keep the off topic chat over in the 'Off topic' section it'd be appreciated. :)
Coming up - Heat exchanger pots. Emporer's new clothes or...
It's probably got mesh in the middle of the hose. Maybe not stainless but something to give the hose a better pressure rating.
