The first dress was hotter
Nice one, are you going to try the swifts mate?
Dear god, a practical looking rifle without a muzzle break.
Really nice rifles mate.
Awesome. Where did you buy the Atlas from Cam? I've emailed Greystone to get their price but I'm sure there will be somewhere cheaper.
Very nice. Had a look at one at the Tahr Show. Probably the only Sako on the rack I would say was worth the coin.
There are more disadvantages to a single shot than a repeater would be the correct way of putting it. No one needs reasons to select what firearm they choose to hunt with though, Gimp is just being...
Yip, 6.5x55. Handles nice.
It's 1-8 march Cam, I wanted something small and 'discrete' that I could chuck in my pack during the roar etc but still have the ability for a longer shot if needed.
Not blooded yet....but I did shoot quite a nice rock behind quite a nice chamois buck with it.

We will all just have to wait and see till I blood her :D
A single shot. If the weather clears I might even get to take a chamois with it next weekend.
Dream rifle turning up tomorrow.
I run bore tech eliminator through mine. First patch takes out most of the carbon, then the rest is till the copper is gone.
I only clean them out every 50 rounds or so and keep logs on how many...
That just depends on the particular barrel Toby. I have some barrels that come out clean after 3 patches and some that take 20+ and never come out truly clean.
Fair enough, they are very expensive. I just want a pill that'll hold together on big reds up close.
Nice rifle Toby. Abe is just about done my howa 6.5AI too. What are you going to run in it? I'm hoping the swifts shoot in mine.
Beauty eh. Was the right price too for the rifle, vx-1 and rings, dies, 2 packs of ammo, a few projectiles and about 70 pieces of brass for $1500. Might be a while before I'm even allowed to carry is...
We're just burning through this Hornady stuff to get a decent amount of brass all the same brand to reload. We'll try some 100gr partitions I think. Shouldn't need any more factory loads but I...
Got this for the sister in law to use. A keen hunter, getting closer to getting her first deer. Had the sights on a stag yesterday but no clean shot. 257 Bob.
...
It'll be something nice one day down the track.

Buggering about with the 7mm08, good general hunting load.

1% of my max minus 10% and it goes around in a reverse 'C' bottom left first. I didn't understand if it was 1% of the max minus 10% or 1% of the last load.
They're only expensive if you think it's a 7mm rem mag haha the nosler brass is soft so if you run it hot the pockets are toasted pretty quick. I can't remember who I got the brass from this time but...
