    Man. Those are REAL splits. My 17HMR never does...

    Man. Those are REAL splits. My 17HMR never does anything near that bad. I have only ever notice it on the actual neck of the case, not in the body.

    I have had both Hornady and CCI with split necks...

    I have had both Hornady and CCI with split necks after firing but there does not seem to be any problem with accuracy or damage to the rifle. I have decided it is what is is and get on with it....

    Yeah. Had the same thing happening for years in my CZ but only notice it when I look at the spent cases.:)
    Solution. Don't look at the empty case.
