    I hardly use a sling but when I do 1" webbing is...

    I hardly use a sling but when I do 1" webbing is fine. After all a rifle doesn't weight that much.

    A piece of webbing (your choice of width) and two...

    A piece of webbing (your choice of width) and two ladder locks. Simple, super light.
