Off topic but does anyone remember what some of these old rifles cost new back in the day? Like the Sako Vixen.
Toz 17 was my first rifle too. Got another one now but a single shot.
That was my first centrefire. Mongrel of a thing. Being left handed even the .243win gave a nice sharp line on my cheek from that terrible stock.
There seem to be quite a bit of nostalgia coming through in this thread (and fair enough) but my favorite rifle is definitely my current one. A dirty old Tikka T3 308. I like to think I have kept...
