Thanks for the comment bigreddog. The stock will end up a few ounces lighter than the plastic one. Will be clear coating this one, not sure with what yet. You probably know that Ruger did chamber in...

Ha Ha .That there is heart kauri. Left over planking from boat we built 16 years ago, so shes well seasoned. Am surprised how light it is, weighing in at 2lb at this stage with limbsaver on.
