Some of the boys use subs and some HVs.
For me I shoot all the 22s in with HV at 75 meters. This means they are shooting about 1" high at 25m, 2" high at 50m, smack on at 75m, and about 4-5" low...
You should nail bunnies consistently at 75m with a 22. An accurate 22 model with its best ammos and a good shooter should group 1" and under at 75m - and that's very dead bunnies.

Bushnell, Nikko Stirling, and Mueller for field and bench work. All do 22 job very well.
