I'd avoid the Maxtoch charger and get a Nitecore.
Look it up on aliexpress. That's where they sell them. I have spare parts for repair but no spare torches.
Try and get one that is single mode. Avoid the cells they supply with the torches, they hold very little charge. When you can buy a good charger, such as a Nitecore. Buy genuine protected button top...
Well overinflated claims. I have heaps of torches like that that cost about NZ$10 each. They will be pushing to light up that far. A cheap C8 clone from aliexpress with an XM-L2 would be better....
Frogfeatures looks like it is glued on with thermal glue. A bit like thermal paste but a glue. Use a strong screwdriver and you should should be able to pry it off.
If you can't wait for them from overseas then check out Trademe for protected button top Panasonic.
Sounds like it. Yes.
That looks like a lot of light. For 22 range it is hard to go past a little C8 with an XM-L2 of some sort. Good for weedy little cripples like me.
And some clear plastic.
Wasn't impressed that much with either colour option.
Not at all. It's for anything useful for illumination, from walking, to tent, to spotting and shooting. There are plenty of uses for all sorts of torches and headlamps.
Looks like a huge amount of flood light. Very big and heavy. Would not lend itself to rifle/scope mounting. Pretty sure it cannot be de-domed so likely to have bright white glarey light.

Try Maxtoch on aliexpress or burtonator.
Basically you have to measure current vs time from full.
As a rule you'll be lucky to get 25% of the stated capacity with that sort of cell.
Do it!
They are a well made item. In a brain fart moment I donated mine to someone.

I think their original torch was a copy of an Olight or something. After that, with a bit of kiwi input, they made their own from the ground up. Now they are being copied.
...
If you can find out who stole it you should thank them.
It depends what you want it for. I like a fixed focus headlamp with a good throw for hunting, but it is no great for tents or track walking.
Mine have all been DHL.
They would be good.
I think they're currently out of stock but I think mudgripz said they were organising another production run. Think it was in the headlamp thread in here somewhere.
Just use it with the dome on till you catch up with me.
