I'm happy with the title of tight arse. Means I'm happy for the kids or others to borrow gear. A 9kg cylinder at $25 works out around 82 fills or 32 cents a fill for the little cans.
Makes a deafening sound when I sit down too quickly.
Mind you I'll need to buy new gas bottles very shortly and then they probably wont fit.
I think it is a bit hit and miss. I bought two and they both fit perfectly.
Seems everyone sells them at roughly the $10 mark for the 110g MSR. The 230g version is only $6.50 at Mitre10. Go figure. :cave:

Yes, but there is a certain amount in the gas form sitting on top. You dont want to transfer in in gas form as that requires energy change to convert to gas in the donor cylinder and another energy...
