Same, but I did manage to strike one deceptive looking piece of shallow water around a hole. The front slid sideways into the hole and cost me an engine. Cheap insurance.
All went together pretty well. All joints put together with heaps of sealant.

That was about it for the Safari. This thing was ridiculous with the amount of recutting of bits and working out where everything should go.
Yup.
Trouble is I'll end up with something newer and they're simply not as capable off road. As it is this is a lot newer than I wanted.
Yup. Got to say it was a pig of a job and would go back to a better quality kit next time. The Bighorn is a lot more involved than the Safari that's for sure.
Also painted the wiper arms so there...
Particularly when this kit comes with no instructions whatsoever.
A bit. Did throws the boss's wagon on the road.
That is what I kept asking myself. Less work and expence than another engine replacement.
Mrs Gadget says NO! I had to sensor the actual reply for the sake of your delicate ears.
It will be back together later tomorrow, it's the careful taking apart that takes all the time.
I knew this was not going to be a quick or easy job even with a kit and have put it off for a couple of years. It was obviously not made to attach a snorkel to with the only viable spot into the air...
