Depends what you want out of it, theres gunna be a trade off in durability in order to go light, but it isnt as big as you might think. modern materials have closed this gap.

Yeah man 60l is about as much as I want to take. Can strap sleeping mats ect on the outside to if you need the extra space.
Yeah mate the one I replaced was 3.2 empty, kicker is that the exped is comfier too. Just gotta DIY a rifle carrying system now. Dont think you will be disapointed
I just picked up a exped lightning 60l. Havnt had it out in the hills yet but have loaded it up for some hill sprints a few times, comfy and super light. I probably wouldnt want to full on scrub bash...
