    Keeping in mind that most will grow their heads in one spot and then move away for the roar and in some cases winter and not come back until velvet time next year

    Was in Haurangi on weekend, saw a young stag and...

    Was in Haurangi on weekend, saw a young stag and an older one (hanging with hinds and fawns no less) and they were still in velvet, older one was 8-10pt, very grey looking so prob strip ok
