I use 2 degrees per thousand ft and 1 hpa per 120 ft. They are the standard ISA lapse rates used in aviation.

I just input mine manually every day before I need it, I double check it a different times of the day. I use my kestral and gps to confirm for all the info required. Far more accurate than a weather...
