I have tried to make a stock before. Let's just say it was functional but I was too embarrassed to be seen with it [emoji16]
I was ok at metal work but considered retarded when it came to woodwork....

What can ya do. I have known Dave for 40yrs. Went to school with his boys. Dave did my FA licence back in 83' when he was testing for the MSC.
Always wanted one of his stocks on a rifle I owned....

I did ask him ages ago. He was all keen then, but he's had enough now that I am ready to have it done. I am bummed because I was counting on it and admire his craftsmanship.

Yeah it's a shame. He was master class. I spoke with him today. He says it is taking him too long and requires too much concentration as he makes all his by hand. Not in a machine.
