Penny getting ready for the roar!
Only problem she doesn't know which team she meant to be on
I have spent last year researching tent and finally went with a tarp tent from us. Based on weight and pack down size. Otherwise think vaude is better value
Looking for small basic camera to keep handy in pocket when out.
Sick of having to turn I-fone on etc
Requirement small, basic, battery operated? Water resistant
Any ideas
Thanks PW
Yep my model has missed all memo's . Still a great friend to go bush with😀
Thumbs up, good quality production will, program it into sky planner . Thanks
As a newbie to the gun club and hunting in general, would give a big thumbs up too Scott and team at Allan Millers H&F Dunedin.
Set me up and felt confident with all the advice. Centrefire...
Brilliant work Pratty, jet is a brilliant dog your work has paid off.
Always appreciate your advise
Hey Simon
Good luck on here or other forums re specific training clues.
Normally I find you can get 1 great useful bit of info from about 10 replies to thread.
My only suggestion is book Gundog...
Any advise on sun screen to use on the tops etc.
Got the fair Scottish skin problem.
Use brimmed hat, long top and pants.
Still neck hands getting hit.
Guessing all sunscreen and bug spray...
finally a way to slow a Brit down!
Must have a americian ancestory otherwise be onto the red wine :)
G'day Sam, I'm a newbie too and have benefited from the joining the dunedin deerstalkers, with both help ideas and especially the hunts course.
Stew
Thanks Roywild and Kawhia
We popped in up NEV briefly but had to get to work so didn't catch up.
I'm pretty limited in spare time and adding agility not really me at moment, like the of field...
Congratulations.
Thanks GSP that is the sort of thing I was thinks of with the Garmin.
Yep the Brittany's can be quick, disappearing in one direct re appearing at the total opposite spot at the same time :)
Thanks for your input.
So in 20 years of training you have never done kiwi aversion which I understand involves shock collars?
Very hard to find any useful help for gundog training in Dunedin hence...
Not ever going to use a shock collar, vibration just designed to be another form of communication, but I guess you probably use ESP on a GSP or something Ruffy.
So have had a rehomed brittany for a year now, brilliant dog only problem is the owner.
Have good control around home eg heal, come, stop, etc
Have taken here bush on 4-5m lead and she put us onto...
Q? Has anyone thought of putting some lead into one of there "wild dogs" chasing thru your block?
Not an ideal solution on a poor dog! But is legal
Wow no2 already she will be getting tired. Penny all good everywhere except the bush, heel, recall, practice stalking all good just bolts 100m's in bush, haven't been real keen on shock collar idea...
Well done Jett. How does he go in the bush, I need to keep Penny on lead or will just self hunt miles away!
