Can someone with a whidden bushing die confirm if the bushings are the standard 1/2" diameter?
I can't find it on the Google
Cheers
Thanks Jaco
I'm looking towards next season, I will be shooting the 6.5 this season as much as I can but just starting to make a plan to get back into properly next year
What do you think about a 284 Chris? 6x47
Looking to build a new rifle to get back into some competition shooting, maybe on a Barnard SMS action.
For FPR what set ups are you (and the winning guys) running? Just wanting to get a feel for...

Its light and pretty rigid. It's great for the 6.5CM but might boot a bit on a big winmag or such
I almost bought one from Delta Tac late last year but then a brand new one popped up on TM for $700

More passive gun control?
You wanted to get home to see your kids??? :ORLY:
I don't follow, you did read that I use a chamber type seater die? Do you mean over cramming? The powder is not compressed and projectiles seated without too much pressure. I think its just that the...
TBH after shooting it I'm not even vaguely concerned. 0.84 MOA 10 shot group @ 300y from a brand new R700 is already better than I could've asked for.
No excessive force required to seat, standard chamber, no lube, neck ID expanded to 0.001" less than projectile OD, brand new peterson brass, no full size just neck to reduce tension
Yeah, I'll add one to my next brownells order when they'e back in stock (Wilson)
2630 is faster than the 140's I shot today
That is the internal diameter of the neck is 0.001" smaller than the measured projectile diameter. It's the same thing as 0.001" less than loaded
But if you didn't see the results on the first...
Ok well I went out to the range today. A bit of background, brand new out of the box R700 in 6.5CM, dropped in a KRG Bravo, no trigger work (heavy AF), didn't lap the lugs or anything yet, never even...
Hmm I don't have a concentricity gauge but visually they still look round. I think the neck tension is just too high, but at 0.001" under it should be sweet. I'll just fire them off tomorrow and see...
Just loading up some 6.5CM with brand new Peterson brass, necked to 0.001 under projectile dia. and the tips are getting crushed when used in my new L.E. Wilson chamber type seating die...
Any...
Found a local source of 99.3% tin solder for $40/kg. Does this sound decent?
Just email and ask
I seem to always have at least 3 things in various stages of shipping progress coming from Ali
I was kind of meaning a more virgin source thanks Maca
Where do you casters buy your metals? Mostly, where do you get tin and antimony??
Cheers
