just had a play with some steel shot wads...no cusion leg and no slit in shotcup...can fit 10 x #00 buckshot balls in without trouble....eye opening was the .30 calibre buckshot balls...16 fit in...

I still load with a whackamole type lee loader and they go bang and things die....
if all the crimps look similar you should be good to go.
only one way to find out how good,dont think you will be...
