the dreaded click!!!!!!!!!
the zastava .308 I owned had a clunk...and it puzzled me till took it out of stock, she was old mother hubbard in there...no bedding at all,it had been taken out and not...
possibly try the same as works for a BLR..... forend hold with offside hand on metal work of action so nothing touching barrel or foreend at all....there is a bit around about the #1s and how to make...
not me...gave it up years ago....was a redundant habit LOL.
like spanking your monkey????
redundant generational beliefs!!!!!!!!! struth next you will be telling me being heterosexual and marriage isnt ideal way to bring children into world....
Ive been told Im a bit of a rightwing...
just a gentle tap, base of screwdriver or empty case, whatever you turning dial with, not hard enough to crack n egg...I think of it as settling/wobbling the threads into centre.....tap the dial itself.
same as going 2 clicks too far, then back...to take out any slack in threads...engineer told me to do this some 40 years ago..that and tap turrents....so I always have n always will.
best you load up a heap more rounds and use at least 3 to check that you have it right...
and oh yes we have all been there.....more than once.
