See if army and outdoors have any British waterproof trousers in stock. $60 I think they were brand new, not super light but cheap and cheerful and likely more durable than hunting gear.
Get a havalon blade changer - will work with these fine, is only a couple of bucks and much safer for the fingers!

Well under 400, but I would take these over the vortex any day of the week.
Unless you intend to get into full on alpinism, perhaps something a bit lighter and simpler might be the go. These might fit the bill?

Trying to order from camerlandny at the moment but having issues with their website and getting it to accept my card. Any clues appreciated!
On the whole, most modern factory rifles shoot pretty good these days, 1.5” or better. As an RO at a local range you tend to get a good look at most common things. Tikka do fine, as do howa’s, but...
Kuiu chugach? Just been updated, and certainly light. Older one seems to be reasonably durable for the weight.
GDMP possibly knows a thing or two about this….

You could land one of these well under budget. Not the lightest going, it built like a tank and...
They are really good - I have the pants, $59 brand new - can’t go wrong. Sizing tend to run large - sized to fit over gear.
If commercial, kuiu are great, fabrics a step up from goretex, but best...
Any chance of a price list / availability on the tents? Your google drive links don’t work, for me at least.
Hi Viz made a three dot set of sights that mounted on dovetails/ replaced front bead. these work great, and as very lightweight no issues with mounting strength.
No permit required. Recently had one arrive and asked the arms office prior who confirmed no paperwork needed.
Date of manufacture I.e. 2016
Just had one arrive from a commercial seller in the US. No issue at all - was under gst limit which I think is 1k now. 1k US can get you quite a bit of scope from there.
What size(s) are you using? Looked at them many times but unsure what size would be most useful.
I have heard they outsource quite a bit, which may well explain this.
My least favoured brass. Quality control is awful, some good batches, some absolutely horrendous. If you have to use it do weigh, and keep any eye out for case separation. I’ve had some that was very...
If you can’t get hold of a bore sighter, a small mirror works too. Hold it up to the objective. I would centre the cross hairs - I.e. adjust so that you can only see one set of crosshairs. Once...
The Meoptas are on another planet to the cascades. Looked through both about two weeks ago - no comparison.
Yup, had one about 8 months now. Mostly used to track exercise etc rather than for navigation, but it will work as such. Also use on the bike, skiing etc.
Really enjoy mine but purely for hunting...
Good price too...
Meopta meopros, model before the present one came out. Excellent glass though. Meopta make the glass for zeiss conquest range amongst others, as well as a lot of commercial optic lens and products....
Any dramas? No permit required? I’ve asked PN Arms office but they don’t seem to want to reply.
Any info would be helpful
