If you hunt regularly then the wait time when sending a scope away -and having to rezero your rifle can be painful
The screw on turret fits in one minute and you are ready to go, no rezero...

They are a great way to breathe LR capability into a faithful old Leupold
There are a few shops stocking them in NZ now.
This VX-1 is dialling perfectly so far, i have dialled many VX-2 models with zero problems
When i have found problems with VX-1 scopes its right from day one, they either work well straight away...
The SOD moa dial up turret definitely fits the VX1 leupolds as well

Yes, but far far far far back in my memory im sure the early vx1 scopes had a different cap thread dia so these wouldn't fit, unless you made a bush to fit.
So its possible the earliest vx1 might...
