If you click 'go advanced' when replying to a thread, there's an option in there somewhere to automatically add it to your subscribed threads, and notify you of updates.

If you look at 'Thread Tools' in the dark bar just above the first post, there's an option to subscribe to the thread.

Once subscribed, you should be able to find it later by going to "Quick...
