no matter how good the silencer is at controlling the muzzle blast if you shoot ammo that it supersonic you will make noise as the projectile hits the sound barrier.

i have 2 made by gundoc, they work well.
as for the manders one i had one years back and it went something like this from my 10/22:
pew pew pew...ka-boom!! as the entire thing blew to bits...
