What powder are you using to get that speed?
There's heaps of really good hunting within an hour of Hamilton and it's good because people don't know about it lol.
I stuck a stick in one of those once wondering what it did, it gave me quite a fright and the stick got snapped in half lol.
Only about 20, but will have around 60 once I use the loaded stuff. I think they will be fine to go one more load, the ones that are over the book length are only just over.
It chambers fine but is a little over the book dimension. Thanks for the offer, might wait until I have a few more though.
I've found that my brass is in need of a trim, could any one recommend an entry level but effective trimmer and deburrer setup.
I'm a uni student so the budget is fairly low.
Mangamuka hut would be the closest but that's pretty far away. You would be better off going up Te Tuhi track and heading to it from there.
I shot my first animal using a 2 blade rage broadhead yesterday.

The goat was about 15m away and I'm shooting a reasonably fast 70lb bow. The arrow went clean through and stuck into the...
I think Go Pro is the best option due to the amount of accessories you can get for them.
I'm fairly sure you need a cites permit which you get through DOC, heres their page on it: CITES permits: Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora: international
I'm not at all surprised by this, it's always been a badly maintained website and it's still using outdated versions of PHP and JQuery.
Importing tikka mags from Europe/ England might be quite a good option now that the exchange rate is better.
Calm down bro
I took a rich Canadian guy out hunting and he had a thermal camera, it was pretty easy to identify the animals so I don't think you would mistake a person for a deer that easily.
It was cool seeing...
Can you link these? I can't find them.
I tried using tru oil on my boyds laminated stock since all the polyurethane was chipping off, but the oil got rubbed off on parts and the wood delaminated slightly after a few days hunting in wet...
This seems like the sort of thing a rich Jaffa would buy in 7mm-08.
Looks like the Chinese have made a copy of the Atlas:
China Hottest! Tactical Military Adjustable Bt10-Lw17-Atlas Rifle Bipod for Hunting Cl17-0019 - China Hunting Bipods, Bipod for Hunting
50009
Does any one have or have used one of these bipods? I see they are on trade me for around $20 and they look ideal for what I want.
I have a small rail which I can put above the front sling...
If I clean the mud off my Rav 4 I would look like a towny that likes to go hiking.
AR2206H does that in my 7mm-08, the soot is way harder to clean off than other powders and it stains the crown of the barrel.
I bought a 5 round mag a couple years ago and after quite a bit of research ended up getting it from here: SAKO TIKKA T3 MAGAZINE 5-RD 25-06,6.5X55, .270 .30-06 - Rifle Accessories - Stalking,...
I had my 7mm-08 tikka cut down to 18 inches and suppressed and now I can consistently shoot half moa groups with it using factory ammo.
I used to average 1 moa groups and it was a bit fussy on ammo.
I went for a look up Wairere falls on tuesday, the tracks where a mess of foot prints and I didn't hear any roars. My dog got me onto a hind early in the morning not too far from the top in thick...
