Isn’t there an NZ dealer somewhere in Belmont Wellington? Jit ?
I’ve been wearing progressives for maybe 10 or 15 years and I don’t ever think about them it’s so natural to me. No difference in groups between when I wear contacts or glasses. Not that I’m aware of...
Fantastic, thanks JohnDuxbury that is really good info. Thanks to all for this fantastic response, I'm learning a lot. And zimmer that sure is good shooting - an inspiration.
tetawa, I use...
Skinner makes a rear aperture sight which also mounts Talley QD rings. That looks like a good option to me
I would also be keen to learn a little more about the frame and how it works. This looks like a really good pack. cheers.
I mean the shooting glasses have corrective lenses. I can't see sh*t without glasses - I'm pretty short sighted. I use the red dot with glasses and it's fine. Sarvo do you find that you can't line up...
cheers thanks guys that's really helpful. I'll pm you ebf, much appreciated indeed. I'm interested in ghost rings but I figure I should start with the factory sight and see how I go first. I have a...
Oh forgot to say I am short sighted and wear progressive lenses so I can focus on the front post ok
Hi guys. So I just bought a BLR in .308. I’m really keen to try using the iron sights. I turned 60 last year. Anyone out there 60+ having success with iron sights?
I have a Tatonka 75 and it's sort of love/hate. It's not too bad for comfort but I'm not convinced I couldn't do better. On the other hand I've had it quite a few years now and I'm still using it....
It was a really amazing experience for me - first South Island hunting trip but I sure hope it wasn't my last. Thanks dale Jit (and Justin) for sharing it with me.
I would think that the seller has a legal obligation here - so TM really should be helping you get in touch if you can't find the email. If you can't get it resolved you should be getting your money...
I am no expert but I am with Grandpamac and spudattack and others on this. Logically if the bolt lift is easy but the case is stuck, there has to be a problem with primary extraction.
I have a pair of Ascent pants with the knee pads and they are one of my favourite pieces of clothing. They are also lasting really, really well. I'm pretty keen to get some more Sitka stuff but it is...
That's pretty cool. There are so many options my head is spinning.
Cheers mate, I have actually been looking at Locus Gear - very nice indeed, and the MLD mids also look good Stocky . I have an MSR E bivy which weighs about 250 g so I was thinking same as what you...
Yep that is correct, but with a groundsheet only, say polycro, it's still pretty close to 600 I guess. You do have to have trekking poles to hold it up, unless you can hang it from a tree, though.
Hey there
Has anyone got/used one of these? It's an insanely light, and from what I hear very roomy, single wall DCF pyramid tent. Weighs 530 g. Costs... a lot. But could be the one tent to do it...
Gkp Thanks mate I will if I can find some. Although since the barrel settled in I’m now getting up to 3k with the precision hunters out of a 22” barrel. The ES is high though. I haven’t quite given...
If you’re talking about Precision Hunter 143 ELDX I have yet to better it with handloads in my Defiance 6.5 PRC custom. They shoot under .5 MOA. Best I can repeatably get so far is .75 with 140...
Great setup! Do you have a load for the 6.5?
Hubba Hubba is a great tent but definitely not 4 season.
I had my first night out in my new Macpac microlight and enjoyed it. Room inside for the rifle and vestibule fits pack and boots. Seems sturdy and is quite thoughtfully designed. I admit I wouldn’t...
Yes I’ve had meat fly blown through cheese cloth. But it’s quite absorbent so if you wrap meat in cheese cloth before you put it in a plastic or canvas bag it soaks up blood
Where did you buy it? I’ve been looking at dyneema tents for a while. lol
