Private dam in Onga Onga. Last two trips produced 25 parries and 28 parries, up the Tuki tuki river. Have not shot many mallards this year, but not really targeting them.

6 of us shot Saturday, bagged 9 mallards and limits of parries. It was a sunny warm day with high cloud. Worst of all was no wind. On Sunday we had a quick morning shoot and then the big clean up....

.6" groups from my 16" 7mm08 Remington Model 7. 50.5g cfe223 was over 3100fps. No pressure signs on the Lapua brass but over book value so use caution.

Im using CFE223 for my 16" model 7 in 7mm08 with 120's and getting awesome precision and stupid fast.

pull the bolt out to a distance equal to the end of the scope and then use a rule to measure roughly centre of bolt to centre of scope

The free version of strelok is good. Make sure you measure and alter the preset scope height variable from 1.5" to an actual measurement. The difference makes a big difference in my experience.
