    Yeah YOUR experience which is subjective not proven as you have put it. However everyone will have varying views, steel is better but the alloys can be fine as well.

    Check the basics, bases,mounts,scope. Then I would let the bore foul, then try shooting some groups they should hopefully tighten up.
