It's an RS-1 sling from Riflecraft in the US, makes it real quick to get sling support in pretty much any position, seeing as the sling is always held open at the loop.
Thought I might post a photo of mine before I sold it, seeing as it's got the scout rail on the front too, in case anyone was curious... I really needed some lower scope rings... :)

You should just be able to get them to ship it directly, Canada doesn't have the same export restrictions as the US. But I'd be interested to know if Youshop is cheaper, so keep us posted... :)
No worries, you should check out some of their other stuff for the M-305 too, including the blackfeather stock, fair makes me dribble... :)

Totally understand. I did about 3 weeks worth of research all over the internet (including the parts your mother warned you about), & most of the cheaper mounts had horror stories about destroyed...
Neither will probably keep zero for very long due to the basic design, but I can personally recommend the CASM mount from m14.ca. I had one on my M-305 & it was awesome, nice & low to the breech, &...
