I think that is true of all rifles to an extent and many other things. the first owner takes the hit and depreciation is slow from there.
I paid 1100 for a new t3 threaded.
Anything is worth what you can get someone to pay for it.
Generally I wouldnt pay more than 2/3rds new price for second hand.
