Ha! I knew the founder story sounded similar. That writes this off the list!
This is good to hear. I had written it off as spendy Aliexpress stuff like bushbuck.
Was looking at game gear as seems more affordable. But sounds like you might have to buy twice
I’m in need for some wet weather gear for boat fishing, casting lures etc.
Has anyone had anything to do with this musket gamegear range? 206412
jpurdon Yip anywhere along that coastline is good. Further you go towards Rawhiti the better
Faster delivery than many Nz companies
Fly down and visit good mate, shoot some thar and veni with the new rig, fly home with poly bin of steaks and your new rifle.
Can you get the 80’s anymore?
Completely agree- there’s also grid fleece then there is grid fleece! Rip off polartech all over the show now.
Underarmour seem to have it right..? I’ve also been in the transition to polartech...
I don’t mind cheap gear, Fleece from the warehouse is as good as most others fleece.
But the likes of firstlite erk me. Really cheap nylon based merino sold at a premium.
It’s the throw...
Na,
Chinese manufacturers will produce any quality goods you wish to pay for. Pay a decent amount and get good quality, pay a shitty amount and they’ll still produce it for you but will cut...
It’s a challenge… hotsoup
Given bushbuck, firstlite, stoney creek, huntech, ridgeline, torpedo7 all get there gear made in the same places, all easily found off alibaba. It makes it hard to...
I’m amazed! Consistent thoughts here for sure
Not one pro-chassis person in here.
Maybe it’s closet chassis owners only and don’t want to stick their heads up?
Really interested into why chassis don’t get as much favor in NZ as they do in the USA.
What’s the reason?
Is it simply that a classic looking stock still holds the most appeal?
For a...
Over 10 years ago now, memorable deer shot with my old man.
Suppressor was from the late william McRae.
Would deeerly like that tikka back if anyone sees this and knows where it lives?!

You could easily cut the stock back and the wrap the underside from the pistol grip through to the fore-end in carbon tape. Likely add 80-90g.
Still be a plastic stock but!
They are a tent stove, so adapting to a hut is certainly going to need common sense to be safe. Pretty sure Thar has that in spades.
Good points about distances, perhaps pop a reflector on the...
Gosh I love that hut
18inch suppressed 270.
The 1415 isn’t a top quality rifle. At best the budget Annie. Personally I’d put my faith in a em332 instead.
I had a 1415 that shot lapua gold box amazing. But everything else it didn’t like.
Dunno why pic didn’t attach.
Good start anyway.

Good start with the 223 mini. With under 1/2moa
55gr winny box ammo to sight in and a group. Shot with 4x scope.
Look forward to doing some load development in the near future, but this is...
I have a 270win rem700 , 18inch barrel with dpt. 150gr soft points for bush hunting.
I’d have no issues chopping one again to 18inch
Bump here for some Howa love.
Really taken by these Howa mini’s. What is a bloody ugly duckling in my mind from the shops with a terrible stock and horrible mag, can be changed into something...
Decided to start another one. This will be to shoot off a bipod. Intent is to swap it out with the 223 and a higher power scope for targets and pesting
