These vx3i 4.5-14 x 40 ZL2 cds are a brilliant bit of kit and a decent weight mid ranger option. I see the ZL is coming out soon as options on even more scopes shortly, brilliant...

Well those 60 combined rounds did a great job of breaking in the barrel. It looked like a 7mm projectile would have been sweet down it.
Thankfully no damage, and I've no doubt it's still going to...

It's in the rifle, but is plastic so can't be modified to accept Saum rounds. Gunsmith ordered a metal mag over a month ago, but hasn't shown up yet. hopefully soon!

Don't be silly, everything is valid apart from having a single shot that is meant to function with a mag.

Each to their own i guess. I would have lost a stag this roar if it wasn't for the quick follow up. no way could I fumble round for another round as it moved off. maybe i have too many thumbs.

Single shot would be fine for gongs! But you need more than 1 for hunting in the bush on the way up or for a follow up shot. Will sit in the safe until we can sort it out.
