Have you tested them with a decent load behind a 300 grain projectile ?
2828 fps is pretty slow for 250s....

When I did a load development on an AI AX 338 LM...
When I did a load development on an AI AX 338 LM a while ago I was quite surprised by the carbon build up in the brake with the suppressor fitted.
Stands to reason I guess as the brake is a trap... -
