I reckon the Berger Gen IIs make a bigger hole than the Scenars I used up north :)

The 338 wrecked that plate right out past 800 yards & it was 12mm mild, thats why I only shoot the mild with the little toys now :D

12 or 16mm Biz 400, 16 will stand up to my 416B unless you are being a Dick.

My big plates are ex dozer blade about 12-13m & as hard as, they "ring" well :D

Maybe a little cheaper to get a Barnard, XLR Chassis, Trueflight barrel & chamber it in 338 Lapua, Norma.
Or cheaper still build a 338 Edge on a 700 Action 26-30 barrel, great hunting rig .
