    I have always been told that there are no Fallow...

    I have always been told that there are no Fallow in the Waitakeres but could never work out why as there is nothing to really stop them migrating from the Woodhill Forest to down there.

    It will most likely be an escapee from a deer farm or the off spring of an escapee. I took a balloon ride from Helensville to Dairy Flat a few years back and saw quite a big stag by itself on farm...
