    The action screw has flats that engage a slot in the stock so it doesn't turn when the action nut is tightened but it's still kinda unsettling

    Gidday Folks- a Mauser M18 in 308 has just joined the rack.

    On its initial strip down I noticed the front action screw (which is a reversed arrangement from normal) wasn't "tight" to the reciever...
