I'm going to shoot 150gr BT using 2206h in my 16" jobbie. Got everything to get started, except free time.
Aiming for 2725-2750fps.

Can't wait to hear the story next time I catch up with him.
Good effort by all!
I have one, it stumped me. Never been used haha.
I'm about to load some up in my 16" .308 with 2206h.
Bloody good!
I've done it a few times with a T3. Pretty sure I used a screwdriver with insulation tape on it to push it up and around (as per YouTube).
mawzer308 that was an absolutely epic shot to say the least mate, glad I witnessed it. I don't think she even ran 40m if we're being honest. She was dead on her feet, lights out.
I think the stag...
West Coast - Wellington region. Nothing beats squid with a bit of burley. Easy fishing in as little as 5m.
Good watch, enjoyed it.
How many other deer have you buggered up trying to get on film! 😅
I've been lucky enough to get out for a few Roe Bucks in the UK over the last few years. No big bucks, but I've taken a few smaller six pointers. I had my chances though, bloody shooting sticks haha....
About to start loading the 150gr BT in my 16" 308 using 2206h as my all-rounder. Hoping for 2700fps.
I had a very good using the 140gr in my 7/08.
As stated on the previous page. I'm getting the 162gr Amax hovering around 2640-2650 fps in a 20" T3 using a slightly warm load of 2208.
Ditto ish....
T3 308 - 16 inch, DPT, carbon stock, talleys, fluted bolt and VX3i 3.5-10x40.
Sub 3kg (empty) ready to rock and roll.
mawzer308 that's a beauty you tin arse! Save some for the rest of us aye.
Sideshow - Yup, currently in Northumberland for another week before flying home. Just over here visiting family, but managed to organise a few evenings out chasing the critters.
Sideshow - ripper buck mate.
I'm off chasing them a few evenings this coming week. Can't wait!
Makros.
Legend, appreciate it.
Heading over to the UK in April. Is there a list of items that do or don't require import permits? Not after any firearms components or projectiles/brass etc.
Particularly interested in a Spartan...
I've used a piece of stockings tied around the turret and the bottom of scope (right around the lot). Then I lift it up and slide it forward when I need to adjust the turret. Hope that makes sense.
Looks like a epic trip.
Interesting comment about the Klymit mat, as I'm about to purchase that exact mat (or the UL version) myself.
Left the binos at the hut one morning eh craigc
Looks good!
Jaco has done a few jobs for me, highly rate him!
Not sure about my exact model, but it's a straight blade model with an approx 30cm blade on it. I don't venture bush without it ever.
Haha getting a bit of stick 🤣
I've got a flight booked into Tussock Hut later this year and when split three ways combined with the 10% off, works out pretty well.
Helisika is reasonably priced depending on exact location and numbers. Cheeky 10% off for NZDA members too.
I've used 2208 and the 162gr Amax for maybe 7-8 years now. Only going 2640fps but man, they are absolutely devastating in my 7/08.
