Looking good kiwijames - pretty sure I got the idea to shoot the BT's in my T3 from you and from memory, it was almost an identical load.

GWH 42.7gr 2208 mate and 20" tube - seems to shoot pretty well. Only shot two animals with this load to date.
Timmay - I plan to re-chamber my spare T3 7/08 barrel to .284 when I feel the need.

Interesting..... I"m shooting them in my 7/08 @2650fps 2.905" (long action setup).

I have a spare near new (less than 70 shots) T3 7/08 barrel in the cupboard for in the future ;)

I think it's just a factory stock that has been coated in something.....?

7/08 but it's LA now. Shooting the BT and Amax really well seated out nice and long.

Wearing it's new stock thanks to stug - has definitely lightened things up!

Your new load will probably shoot crap..... so give me all your 140gr BT's then eh ;)

Whats the deal with dies/brass? What length tube is that - 30" or similar?

Could a standard 7/08 tube be reamed to 284 Shehane? Any real world benefit over a 284win in a 22" tube?Thinking T3...

Doesn't seem to like 130gr Remington Corelokts too much. Groups were areound 1 1/2" at 100 yards. A little bit different to shooting the T3 that's for sure.

Handloads are on the way though!

Amazing setup!

Seeing the magnum suppressor on a 22" barrel has changed my mind about a brake - can it is! Abe will be getting sick of me changing my mind!
