    Thanks lads, your replies are as i suspected. Its a bloody shame as his midland radios are very very clear, and are very good value for a 5W UHF.

    A mate has just purchased some Midland GXT1000 uhf radios, and we have just tried to see if they will 'talk' to my Uniden UH064sx's without success.

    Both UHF, but im picking the frequencies dont...
