    A day out on the tops

    After reading @stagstalker and @Clubbie's posts and watching their video's of hunting the tops it gave me the inspiration to go out for a mission. Just as I got there the fog started to lift so I headed down to a likely spot however after some time only a motley old sheep was to be seen.
    I waited all day to go back out for an evening hunt but the fog rolled in so I headed home empty (quite typical for hunting there) never mind it was a beautiful day and if you got something every time it wouldn't be hunting.

    Likely looking country...get the feeling a deer could come out of the bush edge at any time.

    Yeah I was pretty confident until the fog rolled in again (bugger)

    Pretty long range stuff. Prefer it a bit tighter
    Great pics. How long are you walking to get up there?

    I can drive most of the way but it would be an hours walk to get to the good spots which isn't bad compared to some of what the other guys are doing on the forum. I have had 3 deer from around this area.

    Nice pics @7mm Rem Mag, pretty sure I recognize where you are lovely spot eh! You must be lucky and have private access? Shes a slog via the other routes in! That fog can be rather annoying! Thanks for sharing!

    No worries mate, The amount of time the fog has come in there is countless but it can be a great spot with the right conditions
