    110 grain TTSX in 7 08

Has anyone tried these projectiles in the 708 and if yes what data do you have? Not worried about BC of the bullet as it will be used for bush hunting.

    Cheers

Yep I am using them. Only shot three animals so far. A red at 150 yds, quartering away. Bullet hit in the last couple of ribs and exited in front of the opposite shoulder. Deer ran 50 -100 yds before keeling over (it had been alarmed by us shooting it's two mates) then two goats shot at 100 yds. One front on chest shot, other neck shot, both dropped on spot.
Using H335 out of an 18" suppressed 7 08, getting just over 3000 fps.

Thanks Stug. How much H335 are you using and what's the accuracy like?

45gr H335 federal 210 primer seated to fit the magazine. Shoots about 1.25" at 100 yds. This is with a 5x scope and no real load development

1-1/4oz buckshot over 5g AP70 is about all that shotgun needs!

    See you tomorrow
