Thread: 180gn Berger or ELDMs in 7mmRM

Not the exact combo, but I use 2217 with 175 ELD-X in my A7 rem mag, 69.5 grains for 2950 fps from a 24 inch barrel, federal brass, cci 250 primers overall length was somewhere around 3.450 inches.

Haven’t run RL33, but getting 2840 with 67 grains of RL26 and 180 ELD-M from a 25” barrel.

That seems a little slow, i was getting that exact speed with 180 eldms and RE26 out of my 22" barreled 284 win

Yes, it’s slow, but the groups opened up with hotter loads so I stopped there. With the BC of those 180s I’m happy with an accurate load (consistently getting .5 MOA) at anything above 2800. I could likely get well over 2900 if I pushed it but the throat wouldn’t like it..it’s also a pretty new barrel and will likely speed up a bit.
