Ive bought a box of these to try in my 9 twist .223. It shoots 69grn Sierra tipped well so should stabilise them.
Am wondering if any one is loading and using them? Reloading hints for them? Accuracy? Performance on deer? Etc.

Yes @TeRei ,bored. The 69 grn tipped Sierra are wonderful. The 55 grain TTSX are wonderful too. But Im always seeking wonderfuller :)Quote:

Accubonds are hard and like a big jump
I tried .257 accubonds (in @nor-west 's 250-3000) and found them too hard also, they passed right through Tahr and notably a big red stag shot in the shoulder. Might be OK if you get them really moving along . . . . but I'd be thinking a 22-250 rather than a 223.
With all those fast twist 22-250 out there........bugger the yanks and their fascination for red misting things with light pills doing warp speed hahaQuote:

So Ive only loaded 4 to test - fingers crossed I have got the load and seating right.
At about 3100 fps I think the will work at reasonable ranges ok.
