    I load, 55gr, 62gr, 69gr and 77gr for my AR15.

I started with ADI2208/Varget but found it metered poorly, 0.2 +/- or even 0.4 +/- on occasion My best accuracy 3/4MOA is above the max load so a bit too over-compressed. I have now switched to BM2 and find it meters way better like 0.1 +/- gr and I am not compressing as much (if at all). Accuracy is the same or a wee bit better with BM2 over ADI2208.

What length is your barrel @jakewire?

My 16” AR preferred 748 and BAR with the 70+gr weights.

My tikka preferred BM2 and 2208 but had a longer barrel 22”

    Standard Tikka length
Had it threaded yesterday bit didn't get any taken of except what it took to recrown
Had some small rifle primers and 69Gr Sierra TMK's arrive from Black Watch reloading yesterday , very good service from kelli even on a public holiday.

Dies are on the way from Brownells and have 2208 and 2206h, if I cannot get good groups I'll try the BM2
Only using standard Tikka magazine at the moment so may have to slash out for bottom metal that will increase mag length or enlarge current magazine.
With the current stock I think I'll try mag length then enlarge , new stock I'll get different metal and mag.

BM2 is good powder, I use it in my .223, 6.5TCU and .375WSM
Its great only having to buy one type of powder ................................ mostly

Thats what I thought some years ago when I bought my first lb of 2209 but have somehow ended up with
    2KG VV N560
    2KG 2209
    1Kg 2206H
    1kg 2208 and now
    1kg BM2

And thats just whats not currently opened
    Perhaps I need more rifles.

I've had good luck with heavy's, (75g,80) is .223 and 6x45 with CFE.223, BL-C, and varget, BM-2 in the 6x45 (.223) with 80gr and 85gr, I prefer CFE and BL-C as they meter so much nicer in my Harrels powder thrower,
BM-2 gives my best speeds, CFE best accuracy in the 6x45, and BL-C best accuracy in .223 with 75gr,

I had really good success with 2206H out of the 22" .223 bolt gun I had. I think I was running 65gr SGK at 2960fps with a full case of 2206H.

75gr A max at 2800 something (can't remember but it was closer to 2900) with 24gr. Got blown primers at 24.5

3050 odd fps with 55gr SP and 25.5gr BMII

    Never tried BMII with heavies

That game king load was dynamite for goat shooting, really put them down with authority. It's a great bullet.

I'm using 2208 and getting 2860 with 75 Amax out of a 18" T3. Exceptional accuracy, cases (ADI) are lasting too. Have 2206 and BM1, haven't bothered trying as I can't see any point.
