    .224 75gr Hornady BTHP - terminal performance

    Anybody got any experience with this pill on goats and deer?. Will be loading some soon for my RRA for long range shooting and wondered if they do any good on animals. Have read that they fragment violently. Read on some yank forums that they have some of the best terminal ballistics against two legged critters...

    I don't actually intend on shooting animals out yonder with them, goats maybe at a reasonable distance. Paper punching is the priority, but would be interesting if they're any good on fleshy things

    Unfortunately its not as simple as that longrange308 one brand/breed of projectiles performance is not 100% transferable to another caliber/weight.
    "Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
