    264 Win Mag

Young shooter in our club inherited the above calibre and is hoping to get grand Pa's rifle shooting again.

I would appreciate suggestions on propellants to use for 130 projectiles.(Think they came with the rifle)

I like retumbo, or R33 in mine,
Retumbo 66-68 gr with 125 partion and same with 130 AB. 3250 ish.
H4381 will get you to 3100 or. Bit more with a 140 gr.
Slow burning powder as it’s a pretty overbore cartridge.

Yep, slow burn rate powders best. Was running 2225 & RL25 when I had one.

    2225 for 130gr RL33 for 140gr+

You can get really good speed out of them, 140gr at 3300 but they go from ok to blowing primers very quickly and without much in terms of pressure signs.

You have to be careful when approaching max load data.

Remington does load corelokt and there is some available with the supplier.

    Warm Barrels!
